Invitation for TMF 2024 Abstracts Competition

We are pleased to announce the opening of our abstract competition for the upcoming TRIZ Methodology Forum (TMF) 2024 to be held on September 19-21, 2024.

This is an opportunity for TRIZ practitioners and enthusiasts to contribute to the field and share their insights with peers.

Competition Topics

We are looking for submissions that address one or more of the following areas:

  • Identifying unmet market needs.
  • Discovering Main Parameters of Value.
  • Identifying the unmet personal needs of decision-makers.

Submission Process

  • Your extended abstract should outline your work, highlighting the innovative aspects and potential impact.
  • Submissions will be reviewed by a committee, and selected participants will be invited to present at TMF 2024.

Rewards

  • Two participants will be selected to present their developments at the Forum, providing an opportunity for professional recognition and discussion.

Guidelines for Submission

  • Extended Abstract Format:
    • Title: The title should be concise yet descriptive, clearly indicating the focus of the research.
    • Authors and Affiliations: List all authors' names, followed by their institutional affiliations. The presenting author's name should be marked with an asterisk.
    • Abstract Body: The body of the extended abstract is limited to 1000 words (approx. 2 pages, single-spaced, 12 points font). It should be structured as follows:
  • Background: Briefly describe the problem or question your research addresses and its significance for TRIZ. Ensure it aligns with the main topics of the Forum.
  • Methods: Summarize the methods or approach used in your research. This section should include information about the overall strategy and structure used to conduct research, participants, procedures, and tools used.
  • Results: Present the key findings of your research. Use clear and concise language and, if allowed, include essential statistical data or a brief case study.
  • Conclusions: Discuss the implications of your findings. Highlight how your research contributes to TRIZ and mention any potential future directions.
    • Note: Your presentation may focus on formulating an unsolved methodological problem rather than proposing a solution.
    • Contact Information: Provide the contact details of the corresponding author, including a phone number and an email address.

  • Submission Deadline: April 15, 2024
  • Winners Notification: May 15, 2024
